Susan Larue Saunders Bloomquist1944 ~ 2012Susan passed away October 11, 2012 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born December 31, 1944 to Vance Saunders and Thelma Ames in Long Bottom, Ohio. Susan moved to Salt Lake City and met Douglas Bloomquist and married July 11, 1964. She was my only love and best friend. She loved going to yard sales, crafting, quilting and was obsessed with Elvis. She is survived by her loving husband, children: Debbra Bloomquist Rowland and Darrell Clint Bloomquist; grandchildren: Devon, Emily, Clint and Sage; three great grandchildren; sister, Betty Kingston, brother, Gary Saunders, sister, Carolyn Lott and her 93 year old mother. Susan was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Vance Bloomquist and father.Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 16, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Park, 6500 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah with a viewing starting at 12:00 p.m.
