FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Then there was one.

The Atlanta Falcons (6-0) are the NFL's last unbeaten team, giving them plenty to gloat about going into a bye week. Coach Mike Smith is giving his players the entire week off, saying it's a good time for everyone to "disconnect."

Even with a perfect record, Smith said Monday there's much for his team to work on, most of it evolving around the running game. Smith says the Falcons need to rush the ball with more consistency, and they've got to do a better job at stopping opposing runners.

Atlanta has won three straight close games against teams that wouldn't be considered among the best in the league: Carolina, Washington and Oakland. But Smith isn't worried about style points. He only cares about scoring more points.
