MINNEAPOLIS — Midway through the fourth quarter of Game 1 of the WNBA finals, Minnesota forward Rebekkah Brunson went up for a shot in the lane with her team trying to start a comeback.

Indiana center Erlana Larkins delivered an emphatic rejection, knocking Brunson to the floor and essentially ending Minnesota's chance to win the series opener.

Fever coach Lin Dunn called the play "a thunder block" that let the Lynx know they're in for a challenge in order to become the league's first repeat title winner in 10 years.
