Lucille Robins1931 ~ 2012Elda Lucille Christensen Robins, 81, passed away on October 13, 2012 in Sandy, Utah. She was born on September 1, 1931 in Fayette, Utah to Virgil B. Christensen and Elda Jane Hill. She grew up in Fayette and graduated from Gunnison Valley High School after which she worked one year at the J.C. Penny Co. Store in Gunnison. On September 8, 1950, she married Ronald W. Robins in the Manti Temple. After her marriage, she lived in Logan, Utah; Paso Robles, California; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Price, Tremonton and Sandy, Utah. She served in the LDS Church in various capacities, including, Counselor in the Ward Relief Society Presidency, Ward and Stake Primary Secretary, Sunday School and Primary Teacher. She was an excellent seamstress and cook and a wonderful homemaker. Survived by her husband, Ronald Robins; daughters, Nancy (George) Reid, Sally (Sterling) Carter; sons, Lynn (Suzette) Robins, Brian (Kim) Robins; 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, grandson and great granddaughter. The family would like to thank the staff at Our House Assisted Living Sandy Central for the kind and loving care provided to Lucille. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Mount Jordan 5th Ward, 9331 South 300 East, Sandy, Utah. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah and one hour prior to the services, at the church.
