PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor says he can deal with criticism but that he's hardly concerned about his performance as the team prepares for a vital game in Cincinnati on Sunday.
Taylor says he hasn't lost confidence in his abilities even after a difficult night in a 26-23 loss to Tennessee last Thursday in which the 10-year veteran was flagged for three penalties and gave up a series of big plays, including the game-tying touchdown pass to Kenny Britt in the fourth quarter.
The Steelers (2-3) have given up nine passing touchdowns already this season and have watched second-half leads in each of their three losses slip away as the secondary failed to come up with vital stops.
Safety Ryan Clark says there's plenty of blame to go around and Taylor is hardly at fault for Pittsburgh's slow start.
