John Allen Lindsay01/08/1921 ~ 10/16/2012John Allen Lindsay, beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather, 91, passed away at his home on October 16, 2012.Born January 8, 1921, Park City, Utah to John Allan Lindsay and Ella M. Bunnell. Married Lela B. (Jill) Himes on June 26, 1948 in Park City, Utah, solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She passed away October 5, 1985.John served in the US Navy during World War II. Active member of the LDS Church.Survived by son, James A. (Diana) Lindsay, daughter, Susan K. (Don) Ray, son, William D. Lindsay, son, Richard M. ( Lisa) Lindsay, sister-in-law, Thelma Lindsay, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held Friday, October 19, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at the Butler 12th Ward, 2700 East Ft. Union Blvd. (7000 S.) A viewing will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E.
