Dr. James William Warner1938 ~ 2012Dr. James William Warner was born August 22, 1938 to Sylvan and Virginia Warner in Ely, Nevada. He married Susan Pinney on May 31, 1962 in The Los Angeles Temple. After attending BYU and Dental school at USC, Jim practiced dentistry for 44 years in California and Utah.He was a lifelong Boy Scout, he received the Eagle Scout Award as well as the Silver Bear and Silver Beaver for leadership in the Boy Scouts of America. Jim gave many years of faithful service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed being a Bishop and Counselor in the Stake Presidency and loved home teaching. He was a missionary to Southern California and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He viewed his greatest calling to be husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid BYU fanGo Cougs!He will be missed by his loving wife Susan, children; Mark & Kristen Warner, Richard & Lisa Saunders, Beth Warner, James & Kristen Belcher, David & Laura Warner, Douglas & Emily Warner, 22 grandchildren and his sister V-Ann Ludlow.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 20 at 12:00 P.M. in the Riverton Utah Central Stake Center, 12875 S. 3200 W. where friends may call from 10-11:30 A.M.
