Obituary: SHIELDS, DAVID

David N. ShieldsAuburn, Maine formally of UtahDavid N. Shields, 49, died October 4, 2012 in Auburn, Maine. He was born in Lewiston on December 16, 1963, the son of Daniel R. and Barbara A. (Lynch) Shields. He was educated in Auburn schools and graduated from Northeastern University in 1986. He worked in Massachusetts and New Hampshire until moving to Utah where he has lived for the past 14 years. His most recent job was in golf course maintenance.David is survived by his father, Dr. Daniel R. Shields and step-mother, Marlene, of Punta Gorda, FL and Industry, ME; a brother, Dr. Steven J. Shields and wife Amy of Medfield, MA; a sister, Sally S. Thees of Roseland, NJ; a half-brother, John D. Shields and wife Anne of Boston, MA; 7 nieces and nephews.
