Steven Brent Wilcox1947 ~ 2012Steven, 65, passed away on October 12, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on October 8, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Irving Wilson Wilcox and Irma Langford. A graduate of Olympus High School, Steven married Susan Taylor (5 children, later divorced). Kim Bowman is mother to his final 2 children. He excelled at swimming (diving) and softball as a youth. Oil painting and golf were life-time hobbies. He spent his working life in the grocery and commercial cabinet making industries. He earned an associate degree with honors in construction/cabinetry at SLCC. He was known as an extremely nice, likable guy. Steven will be sorely missed by those who loved him. Survived by his children: Heidi, Nathan (Kristine), Greg (Andrea), Edith (Paul), Amberlee (Sulav), Kawlin and Shiloh. 12 grandchildren. Brothers: Arnold (Kathy), Michael (Gayle), Douglas (Gracie), and sister, Marilyn Brown. Preceded in death by both parents. Funeral: Saturday, October 20, 2012; viewing at 10:30 with services following at 12:00 noon at the Park L.D.S Ward, 450 E. 5600 S. Murray, Utah. Interment: Midvale City Cemetery.
