Joana Colleen Gurney Fullmer1933 ~ 2012Joana Colleen Gurney Fullmer, passed away on October 17, 2012 in Salt Lake City. She was born on May 19, 1933 to Floria and Clifford Gurney in Lehi, Utah.She married Laurel J Fullmer on August 10, 1965 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Colleen served a mission to American Samoa, loved the Book of Mormon, worked several years as a senior caregiver and made hats for hospitals and the homeless. She taught kindergarten and first grade for many years in Lehi and Kearns.Survived by her children; Sharon, Carol (Tom), Maureen, Byron, and James, grandchildren; Briana, Maddison, Kyndsey and Megan, siblings; Dayle (Jean) and Dana Lee. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband.Funeral services will be held Monday, October 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Olympus 5th Ward Chapel, 3070 East Nila Way (40th South). A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi and Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. till time of service at the church. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery.
