Bradley Kopelson "Big Daddy K"Bradley John Kopelson died of an unexpected heart attack at home on October 16, 2012. He was born August 25, 1967 in Norwalk, Connecticut to Kenneth Maxwell Kopelson and Constance Conlon. On May 16, 1992, he married Mindy Turner in Bluffdale, Utah, and his happiest times were with her and their 3 sons, Alex (19), Jack (13) and Max (10). A talented artist, he designed logos for hundreds of companies, but he was proudest of the logos he designed for his boys' BMX and baseball teams. Alex, Jack and Max inherited his love of art, and Brad always loved to help at their school with class art projects. Brad enjoyed hours of games with Mindy, his boys and close friends, including ping pong, "punch H.O.R.S.E." (nobody could keep up with his bank shots!), Hearts, pirates' dice and pound-pound. He also loved to chat on their front porch, where friends and family routinely gathered. Always a fierce defender of his family, he was known to chase down drivers foolish enough to endanger his boys by speeding past their house. As a young man growing up in Long Island, New York, Brad developed a deep and abiding love of the ocean. He became a professional racquetball player, raced sailboards and BMX, and gained a passion for poker from his Grandpa Jack. Few people anywhere were better poker players than Brad. Brad is survived by his "Lovey," Mindy, his sons Alex, Jack and Max; his parents Connie and Dale Clarke; his brother Keith (Nicki) Kopelson; and grandmother Grace Conlon. His father Kenneth Kopelson preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to the Kopelson Children Fund at any Zions Bank beginning Saturday October 20th . A celebration of Brad's colorful life will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at the Eagle's Gate LDS chapel 3793 E Rose Hearty Ln Eagle Mountain, Ut 84005. www.broomheadfuneralhome.com
