Dayna Kimball1964 ~ 2012Dayna Kimball, 48, was born on April 16, 1964 in Provo, UT - the first child and joyful addition to the family of David and Judy Denney. She passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 and returned to her Heavenly Father and her son, Derk Kimball, who was anxiously awaiting her arrival. Dayna married Darrell Kimball on May 5, 1984, they were later divorced, however remained close as they continued to raise their son together. She spent her younger years in Logan, Utah and also lived in Sacramento, California and Mapleton, Utah and Lindon, Utah. Dayna had an infectious smile and a laugh that could brighten anyone's day. If you asked her for anything, she would gladly give it to help another. She had such a giving spirit about her and was truly loved by anyone who met her. She had many friends and acquaintances that she worked with that I am sure will share in our loss. She was very much looking forward to being with her son on the other side again and for this reason we choose to celebrate that reunion, although we will greatly miss her sweet spirit with us here on earth. She was a very active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved her ward in the Lindon 13th Ward. She adored and loved all in that ward. Dayna is survived by her parents, David and Judy Denney, brother, Darren L. Denney (Nichola), sisters Deena Denney Wolfley (Shawn), and Jaime Denney Davis (Robert). She dearly loved her niece and nephews: Hayden Hone, twins Chloe and Carter Wolfley, Cody and Jake Davis and Kyle Odin as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and family members. She was preceded in death by her son Derk J. Kimball. Funeral Services will held Monday October 22, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home, 495 S. State St. in Orem, Utah. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 pm as well as 11:45 to 12:45 on Monday prior to services. Burial and grave dedication will take place at the Providence City Cemetery, Providence Utah, where she will be laid to rest next to her son. Grave dedication services will be held at noon Tuesday October 23, 2012. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.sundbergolpinmortuary.com
