Robert Kyle Denning5/11/1962 ~ 10/18/2012"Our Father didn't tell us how to live; He lived, and let us watch him do it." It is with the greatest sorrow but unwavering faith that we inform you of the death of our husband and father, Robert Kyle Denning (50 years old). Kyle was diagnosed with a glioblastoma brain tumor three years ago. Despite the challenges associated with his illness, he remained loving, patient, and filled with gratitude. On October 18, 2012 he fulfilled his earthly mission surrounded by family, having touched many by his strong faith and courageous example. Kyle was born Mother's Day weekend, Friday, May 11, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah. His birth was the most cherished Mother's Day gift ever for Robert and Maxine Denning. He earned his Eagle Scout Award at the age of 14. He served a honorable mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Boston, Massachusetts. He was married and sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple to the love of his life, Lynette Oakey, on June 19, 1985. Together they had five amazing children: Bryce, Jocelyn (Tony) Bradford , Alyssa (missionary in Yekaterinburg, Russia), Ty and Shayne. He is survived by his wife and children, his parents and siblings: Melanie, Kirk, Alyson, and Michael; his mother-in-law: Floriene Oakey and multiple aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, brothers/sisters-in-law, and dear friends. No one loved life more than Kyle. He knew the balance between family, work and play. He loved to snowmobile, boat, motorcycle ride, jeep and anything with a motor was the best toy. He dreamed big. He loved big. He played big. He lived big. He was larger than life.Work was never a chore for him. From a young age Kyle had the natural ability to work with computers and was successful in programming and creating software. No two days were ever the same. He was gifted to find solutions that offered the greatest good for all. He also had the gift to put people at ease and loved unconditionally.A viewing will be held Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the Cascade Stake Center, 450 E. Center St. in Orem.
