Bonnie Leola Austin-Christensen"10-31-1932- 10-18-2012"Beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, friend and lifelong member of the LDS Church, Bonnie age 79, passed away October 18, 2012 of natural causes, in the arms of her family. She was born October 31, 1932, to Fred and Leola Austin in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Jack W. Christensen, November 3, 1949. Bonnie is known by many for her years as owner of Main Street Day Care Center for 28 years. She loved her family unconditionally, and has always encouraged them to be the "BEST" that they can be. We will ALL miss her dearly. Bonnie is survived by her husband Jack; brother Don (Brett) and children, Steve (Jan), Randy (Cindy), Cindy (Butch), Vickie (Shane). She has 18 grandchildren, and 20 GREAT Grandchildren. Proceeded in death by her parents; her 3 brothers; and son Darrell.Funeral services will be Monday, October 22, 2012, 12:00 noon, at Rivera Ward, 601 East Mansfield, Salt Lake City. Viewings will be Sunday, October 21, 2012, 5:00-7:00 p.m., at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray; and one hour prior to services, 11-11:45 a.m., at the church, where family and friends may visit.
