Annie McKnight Cordell Hansen1931 ~ 2012Annie McKnight Cordell Hansen, 81, passed away on October 19, 2012, in Magna, Utah. She was born on April 27, 1931, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Eddie McKnight and Mary Prator. She married James W. Cordell on February 4, 1946, later divorced and married Merrill D. Hansen on April 20, 1973. Annie enjoyed crocheting, reading and traveling, especially to Wendover. She spent many winters in Arizona as a snowbird. We miss our mom, she was our rock. She is survived by her children Janice (Phillip) Tso, Linda (Carl) Taylor, and Mary Cordell, Darrell Hansen, Denise Hansen and Diane (Jeff, deceased) Damer; 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by James W. Cordell and Merrill D. Hansen, parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters and son, David Hansen. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23 at the mortuary as well as 1 hour prior to the services. The family would like to thank Intermountain Home Care and Hospice for the loving care they gave to mom.
