Jerry Ray Miller1948-2012Jerry "Jer" Miller, age 64, passed away on October 18, 2012 with his loving wife Suzanne, by his side. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho on July 5, 1948 to James Claude and Elaine Bateman Miller. He proudly served his country as a Marine, in Vietnam, from 1966 to 1970.He is survived by his wife, Suzanne, his children William Lee, Jayme Ray (Lexy Bradfield), grandchildren Justin (Kellie Bell), Jayce Ray, and great-granddaughter Hallie Rose, brother Robert Lynn (Maryanne).He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, William Lee, James "Skip" Miller.Jerry married his soul mate Suzanne Dansie, November 21, 1971 in Salt Lake City, Utah where they made their home of 42 years.Jerry was a devoted father and always put family first. He coached Baseball, Football and was a P.E. teacher for Edison, Elementary. He was a Heavy Equipment Specialist and Safety Officer/Trainer. He worked for G.E. for 15 years. He also worked for the Children's Museum, where he created wonderful displays for the kids. Jerry felt very privileged work with the 2002 Winter Olympics, where he fulfilled a very important role. Military honors will be held at noon on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road.
