Peter Lynn Rose1954 ~ 2012Peter Lynn Rose, age 58, died Oct. 20, 2012 at home in West Valley City of terminal brain cancer. He was born Oct. 7, 1954 in Wichita, Kansas to Earl and Nadine Cotter Rose. Pete graduated from Tooele High School. He served an LDS mission to Bristol, England and worked at Fairchild Semiconductor as a Maintenance Mechanic for 30 years until being laid off in Jan. 2009. Pete married the love of his life, Bona, for whom he waited seven years, on Oct. 18, 1985 and became an immediate father of three. They were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple and had one daughter together. He is survived by his wife, Bona Bray Dalton Rose, children Andrea Taylor of La Verkin, Derek Dalton, Jason Dalton, and Bethany Rose of West Valley, grandchildren Jonathan, Joseph, Natalie, Zachariah, and Cole, siblings Warren (Gina), Joy (Kim Lawrence), Tim (LaWaine), Ruth (Peter Swade), Belva (Dennis Coleman), Dena (Kevin Cline), Jay (Vivian), and Bryan, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Earl and Cris, nephew Dustin Hulett, and daughter-in-law Ali Dalton only one month ago. Funeral services will be held Sat. Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. at the Hunter 2nd Ward, 3970 So. 5200 W. A viewing will precede starting at 9:30 a.m. Interment: Valley View Memorial.
