Barbara Woodhouse Robinson1921 ~ 2012Barbara Woodhouse Robinson of Sandy-West Jordan left this world at age 91 for the world of tomorrow on September 30, 2012.Barbara--Excellent home-maker; creator-manager of Blossom Gift Flowers and pet shop; developer-manufacturer-distributor of Blossom Grow planting soils; director of advertising and circulation of American Fishes and U.S Trout News, and co-founder-manager of A Tiny Wood Village mobile home park.Distinguished seamstress, with fashionable clothing for her family; designer-maker of quilts for her extended family, friends and charity. Experienced traveling within the lower USA, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, France, The Vatican, and The Holy-Land of Israel.As a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served 20 years as a Gospel Doctrine Sunday School teacher, and many years and as writer-editor of an LDS ward newspaper.Experiences rounded out at one-time turkey-chicken raising, apple-orchard planting, and in carpentry. Born in Manti, Utah on February 10, 1921 to Jesse M. and Lila Harmon Woodhouse. From age four to ten years she lived in old Bingham Canyon where her father served as teacher in the high school. A graduate of Jordan High, class of '39, she lived most of her life in Sandy. Shared her old Woodhouse-family home with brothers Lyle, Grant and Gale.Attending Utah State Agricultural College, she met and married Clay M. Robinson on December 30, 1941. She and Clay were in their 70th year of marriage.Survived by children--Jerry C. (Barbara B.) Robinson; KriSan (Gordan) Hardcastle; Dr. Kem E. (Sylvie) Robinson; Jani (Roy) Wall, 19 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren.Visitation: Thursday, Oct. 4, 6:00 8:00 p.m. Jordan Oaks 5th Ward Chapel, 3760 West 9380 South, West Jordan, Utah, and again Friday Oct. 5, 10:30 11:15 a.m. Funeral Services 11:30 a.m. under direction of Bishop Richard Laxman.
