Jerome Alfonso Gallegos The Fish Whisperer3/30/1961 ~ 9/28/2012Jerome has gone to the big fishing hole in the sky. We think the big steak dinner he made the night before for everyone took him. He loved fishing, T.V. and movie trivia, fishing, concerts, our July 24th parades/BBQ, swim parties and fishing. And did we mention he loved fishing. He is preceded in death by grandparents, and brother, Isaac. He is survived by his son, Thomas Allen (Sandi) and grandchildren Isaac and Taylor Allen, his mother, Juanita "Jenny" Quintana and father, Joe Fred Gallegos, sister, Federica "Feeks" Gallegos, and brothers, Mark (Desiree) and Daniel, girlfriend, Liz Ulibarri, and nieces, Nicole and Yasha and nephews, Markus, Michael, Emiliano, and Marcelino and his cousin Ana who was like a like a sister. He has many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too many to mention just know he loved and liked you all! But most of all he was very proud of his son and grandchildren to see that they were doing well in school and all their extracurricular activities football, skiing, gymnastics, dance and fishing. He was also known for his Chili Verde and Beans at all the family and friends funerals, which was always a competition with his brothers and sister. "You win this time." :-) Everyone always talks about the one fish that got away. But not Jerome he always got them and then would share with all. Last but not least he was the best meals on wheels taking care of his sister, brother and dad. Love you always and forever! xoxoxo La familia.A viewing and remembrance will be held on Friday night from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell and Sons, 372 East 100 South.
