Mark V. TrippDec. 20th 1918 ~ Oct. 2nd 2012Mark V. Tripp a Long time resident of Wendover, Utah passed away October 2nd 2012. Born December 20th, 1918 to George W. and Inez Tripp of Callao Utah. He was the oldest of 13 children. After 65 years of marriage to Gertrude, they had eight children, 26 grandchildren, and 43 great grandchildren. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints he served as a ward clerk for 14 yrs. Mark served in the U.S Army during World War II. And was a member of the American Legion. He retired from the potash plant after 34 years of employment. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, son - Virgil, daughter - Sheila, son in law Tom Hussey, one brother and three sisters. He is survived by his wife Gertrude, children- Kathy Hussey, son in law - Dale Stewart, Vaughn Tripp, and Patti and Glenn Ratliff all of Wendover, Darlene and Byron Hobbs of Lehi Utah, Don and Cheryl of Arizona, and Tina and Dwayne Leddon of Texas.Funeral services will be held at the LDS Church in Wendover Utah on Monday, October the 8th at 1:00 p.m. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment at the Wendover City Cemetery.
