Joyce Waddoups RushtonWaving "love" from the doorOur loving wife, mother and grandmother went into the arms of the Savior, October 30, 2012. She was born April 25, 1937 to Mark and Annabell Waddoups in Burley, Idaho. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Jean Rushton Jr., February 18, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple. She enjoyed gardening, doing readings and loved the gift of music. She had many callings in the LDS Church such as choir director, being in the primary and teaching Relief Society. She was an unfailing support to her husband during his many church callings and assignments. Joyce's greatest calling and joy was being a wife, mother and grandmother! She leaves us all a legacy of love for the Savior and a testimony of His eternal plan. Joyce is survived by her husband, Bob and their children, Joy Rushton (Kent) Beyer, Kelly (Debbie) Rushton, Clay (Sheryl) Rushton, Sharrie Rushton (Mike) Carn; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and sisters, Marlene (Karl) Pontius and Gayle Waddoups. She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 great-grandbabies.Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3rd, 11:00 a.m. at the West Jordan 66th Ward, 7511 So. 2700 W. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6 8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Road and one hour prior to services at the church.
