Dr. Raymon Hatton Brown1932 ~ 2012Dr. Raymon Hatton Brown, 80, of Palm Springs, Calif., died October 28, 2012 in Newport Beach, Calif., of complications from pneumonia following surgery. He was born June 30, 1932, to Arthur Brown and Nona Hatton Brown in Salina, Utah. He married Nora Mae Brown on September 16, 1954 in Saint George, Utah. He was a prominent and well loved dentist in Palm Springs for 30 plus years, loving father of 4 children, grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 4, experienced pilot and first lieutenant in the Air Force, avid tennis fan and player, graduate of Brigham Young University and USC Dental School, enthusiastic entrepreneur and philanthropist, a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, sailing aficionado and mentor to a large extended family. He was a member of Rotary Club, ADA, USC Alumni. He served in the Air Force from 1954-1956 in the Air National Guard. He is survived by his wife Nora Mae Brown Brown of Palm Springs, Calif., daughter, LeAnne (Steve) Noall, Orange, Calif., sons; Michael Raymon (Jennifer), Lake Forest, Calif., Alan Arthur (Mercedes), Indio, Calif., and Richard Wayne (Dana), Rancho Mirage, Calif., sisters; Corinne Grenawalt, Yucaipa, Calif., Barbara Foote, Reno, Nev., Marilyn Watt, Provo, Utah. He was preceded in death by his brothers Dr. Rodney Brown and Dr. Gaylen Brown. Funeral services were held in Palm Springs, Calif., on Nov. 2, 2012. Interment was in Cedar City, Utah following a brief graveside service with military honors. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Perpetual Education Fund, pef.lds.org.
