Kelly R. Jensen "Flash"Kelly Rex Jensen, 67, passed away peacefully November 9, 2012 in Bountiful, Utah having endured the debilitating effects of Multiple Sclerosis.He was born August 1, 1945 in Salina, Utah to Alma Odell Jensen and Lola Marie Peacock; later loving raised and adopted by his step-father Lauritz Case. He married Norma Jean Tolman, September 4, 1970 in the Salt Lake Temple.Kelly had a strong work ethic and was a dedicated employee for Flying J for over 20 years, working hard to provide for his family. He enjoyed playing softball, attending BYU football games and supporting his children and grandchildren in their activities. He looked forward to family and neighborhood gatherings. He served in his community and volunteered with his wife at Festival of Trees for over 25 years.He had a firm knowledge of his Savior and served faithfully in many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints. He was always concerned about others and generously shared his time and talents. His greatest joy was his family and he loved being 'Papa' to his grandchildren.He is survived by his wife, daughter, Lori and Derek Eccles; son, Ryan and Jordan Jensen; grand children Keara and Devin Eccles; Mac, Miles and Scarlett Jensen. Also survived by his sister Helen Ruppel (JT) and many he considered his family and friends.Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Rique, Robert and sister Linda.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Woods Cross7th Ward Chapel, 2064 S. 800 W. Friends may visit family Tuesday, Nov. 13th from 6-8 pm at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Wed. 9:45-10:45 am at the Church prior to services.
