Obituary: SPAGONE, SINDI

Sindi Spagone1969 ~ 2012Our beloved Sindi (Sydney) Shiner Spagone passed away after a long battle with liver disease on November 8, 2012 in SLC. Utah at the age of 43. Sindi was born on September 30, 1969 in SLC, UT. She attended Woods Cross High. She married Peter Spagone Jr. (later divorced) in 1992 and moved to Boston, MA. and lived there for 16 years. She moved back to SLC in 2008 to be closer to her family. For all those that knew Sindi knew she had a huge heart. She was always wanting and willing to help others. Her kids were her whole life and she was a proud marine mom. She enjoyed fostering her dog Chloe. She also loved to read and cook. She enjoyed the outdoors and received much satisfaction from volunteering at her church. Sindi is survived by her son Taylur Spagone of East Bridgewater, MA., father Dennis and step mother Sharon Shiner of Stansbury Park, Grandmother Lila Briggs of Vernal, brother Jeff (Jeanne)Shiner and Sister Lori (Kevin) Horrocks of Riverton, step siblings Eli Sutton and Jennifer (Kristos) Kalemanis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Ryan, Chelsea, and Courtney Romero, Max, Billy, and Zach Shiner, Shelby, Michelle, and McKenna Wilcox and Alekos Kalemanis. She is preceded in death by her mother Joyce and her sweet baby girl Skylur. Also preceded in death by her grandparents.A visitation will be held at 10 AM to 11 AM followed by a mass in honor of Sindi on Tuesday November 13, 2012 at St. Francis Xavier Parish at 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns UT.
