Obituary: TIMMERMAN, JANNY

Janny V. Timmerman10/13/1932 ~ 11/11/2012Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on November 11, 2012, in her home after a courageous two year battle with cancer. She was born in Rotterdam, Holland October 13, 1932 to Teunis and Janny Vandenberg. She immigrated to the United States as a young woman in 1951 where she found and married the love of her life, William C. Timmerman (Bill) on June 27, 1955. They shared 57 wonderful years together. She enjoyed her family, friends, camping, and travel, especially when she was able to visit her Dutch family in Holland. She is survived by husband Bill, children- Mike (Melissa), Steve (Robin), daughter in-law Sherri; grandchildren - Neal, Shaunna, Kate, Cassie, Brian, Jamie, Krista, Andrea and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved son Jim, mother, father, three brothers and two sisters. The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Greg Miller, the CURO Hospice staff and their volunteers. Graveside Services will be held Friday, November 16, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South.
