Ned Lewis Christensen1936 ~ 2012Ned Lewis Christensen, 75, of Bountiful, UT passed away on November 13, 2012. Survived by his wife, Carla; children, Vicki Pyne, Jeff Christensen and Michelle McClain; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and sister, Mona Lee Farr. Born in Levan, UT and raised in Rose Park, he graduated from West High School and the University of Utah. He served in the Northern Far East Mission in Japan. He married Carla Maxfield in the Logan Temple on August 4, 1960. He was a CPA and had a full career as a Special Agent with the FBI. A favorite part of his career was serving as a Legal Attache at the American Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. Upon retirement, he served as Mission President of the Japan, Sapporro Mission from 1991-1994. He served with the Perpetual Education Fund and as a Bountiful Temple ordinance worker. He loved the youth of the church. His grandchildren were a great highlight of his life, just as his wife and his children brought him his greatest joy. Viewing, Fri., Nov. 16, 6-8 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main St., Bountiful, UT. Viewing, Sat., Nov. 17, 9-10 am followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m., Mueller Park Stake Center, 1800 E. Mueller Park Rd., Bountiful, UT.
