Timothy Grey Jackson1936 ~ 2012Timothy Grey Jackson, 76, of Lehi, UT, passed away on Wednesday, November, 14, 2012 at the American Fork Hospital surrounded by his family who loved him dearly. He was born in Payson, Utah on January 27, 1936 to Leonard Grey Jackson and Ada Rowena Haskell. He graduated from Payson High School in 1955. He served in the Army from 1959-61. On June 20, 1957, he married his childhood sweetheart Alice Carol Chipman in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. In 1955 he began his career at Questar Gas (formerly Mountain Fuel) where he held various positions and retired in the business office in 1993.He is survived by his wife, Carol, and four children, Scott (Colleen) Jackson, Julie MacNeil, Diane (Terry) Workman, Connie (Justin) Withers. He is preceded in death by his son, Timothy Don Jackson, his parents and Brother Larry O. Jackson. He has nine grandchildren; Timothy and Zack Jackson; Megan, Brayden, Ryley, and Connor Workman; Ivan, Melanie, and Justin Withers. Tim was a faithful servant of the lord; he served faithfully in many callings including being a member of a Bishopric, Ward Clerk, and Librarian for many years. One of his favorite callings was to call ward members on their birthday and wish them a happy birthday. He had a big heart and loved everyone. His favorite hobby and pastime was music. On occasion, Tim used his talents to provide music for weddings, work parties, and family gatherings. He loved making a collection of Christmas music for loved ones. This was a wonderful gift that everyone looked forward to receiving. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North American Fork, UT, on Monday, November, 19, 2012, with a viewing at 9:45-10:45 a.m. Friends may call Sunday evening Nov. 18 from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary.
