Bea TaggartMar. 3, 1916 ~ Nov. 18, 2012Bea Taggart was welcomed home on Sunday November 18, 2012 by her husband of 69 years, Nat Taggart; her mother, Ida Jolley; her dear grandparents; son John Richard; son-in-law Larry Birch and cherished friends who passed before her. She was born March 3, 1916 in Spanish Fork, to George and Ida Jolley Anderson. Her family includes 51 (soon to be 54) great grandchildren; 27 grandchildren; her children, Linda (David Lundstrom), Suzanne Birch, Robert (Sandy), Colleen (Rick Bliss), Ray (Sue), David (Susan) and countless unofficially adopted family members. As the owner of Hiland Catering, Bea fed innumerable guests for more than 35 years, doing weddings, luncheons, and National Guard events. Mom and her Highland View friends were probably in charge of every ward and stake dinner, Relief Society luncheon and ward bazaar for several decades. You could always find her in the middle of a project, or in the kitchen surrounded by friends, cooking up food and laughter for everyone. She loved unconditionally, greeted everyone she met with a hug and a kiss (whether they were prepared for that or not), and knew how to make everyone feel capable, happy, and special.Heartfelt thanks to Barbara Warburton and her family for their years of devoted and loving care and service to our Mom. Special appreciation also to Hospice for Utah.Life Celebration services will be held Saturday November 24, 2012 at 11a.m., North Ogden 7th Ward 205 E. Elberta Drive.
