Helen StrangRichfield, UtahHelen Viola Hanchett Strang, 93, passed away November 23, 2012 in Murray, Utah. She was born April 25, 1919 in Annabella, Utah to Byron Martin and Mary Viola Burr Hanchett. She married Donald Rex Strang, February 27, 1941 in Annabella. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, February 27, 1953, he preceded her in death May 2, 1983.She worked as a nurse/receptionist for Dr. Dewey. She loved spending time with her family at the cabin at Fish Lake. Enjoyed family histories.Helen is survived by her daughter, Frances (Stephen, deceased) Atkinson; grandchildren, Gary (Tiffini) Atkinson and Stacie (Equator) Pohahau; great-grandchildren, Quaid and Keaton Atkinson; EJ and MaiLia Pohahau. She is also preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters.The family extends their appreciation to the staff and management of Canyon Breeze in Orem and also to Care Source in Murray for the care given during her final hours. Helen missed her home in Richfield, but was warmly received at her new home in Orem.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012 in the Magleby Mortuary, where friends may call Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30.
