Died 11/3/2012 in Salt Lake City from a blood clot following surgery for bladder cancer. Jan retired from the United States Postal Service January 2012 with plans to do a lot of sewing and camping. Those plans were cut short which just proves there are no guarantees in life.Jan is survived by husband, Raymond of the home; step daughter, Chrystal Lancaster; son-in-law, Wayne; and granddaughter, Tesla of Whitney, Tx.; mother, Velma Olsen; brother, Bob Olsen (Debbie); sister, VelDean Summers (Butch), Idaho Falls, Id.; sister-in-law, Pat Olsen, Snohomish, Wa. Preceded in death by father, Dean Olsen; brother, Heber Olsen. Jan will be missed by many but none more so than her best friend and husband Raymond.Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Pleasant Green Cemetery, 9200 W. 3500 S.
