Steve Brigham1956 ~ 2012"There are no strangers, only friends you have yet to meet."On Nov. 2, 2012 Stephen Francis Brigham passed away following a brief battle with cancer. He was born April 24, 1956 to Frank and Joanne Brigham in Worcester, Mass. His family moved to Utah when he was 11 years old and he immediately fell in love with the beauty of Utah with its majestic mountains, red rock deserts, and rich Native American history. Steve loved his family, fishing, rock hounding, getting to know people and music. His favorite song of late was "Don't forget me when I'm gone" and no one will. He was the guy who would give you the shirt off his back or loan a friend his last dime. He always had a bounce in his step and a smile on his face. Steve loved to share stories of his adventures as a ranger at Goblin Valley. He loved hiking slot canyons, exploring caves, and searching for petroglyphs. He especially enjoyed making friends with people from all around the world. He loved volunteering every year at the Moab Folk Festival. Steve's amazing people skills earned him frequent recognition as an excellent salesman while working at Carlson Distributing. Most recently he worked for MonaVie where he made life-long friends and earned the love of everyone he worked with. His greatest joy in life was being "Grandpa" to Jaiden and Juleah. Steve is survived by his children Lacy and Cory, two grandchildren, brother Scott (LuAnn) Brigham and three sisters Lynne Milley, Elaine (Mark) Schmidt, and Eileen (Gem) Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Mike. Steve was a friend to everyone and will be missed by all who had the great fortune of knowing him. A special thanks to everyone at Spring Creek for their loving care and friendship. As per Steve's wishes there will be a celebration of his life in Goblin Valley in the spring. We love you Steve!Condolences can be sent to the family at www.premierfuneral.com.
