Obituary: BLUTH, VEVA


Veva Keeler Bluth1916 ~ 2012Veva Keeler Bluth, born November 11, 1916 in Colonial Juarez, Mexico, died March 19, 2012 in Sandy, Utah. She married Emil Carl Bluth in Alamogodo, NM. Veva was preceded in death by her husband, "Mo" and son, Carl as well as her parents Abner and Fern Keeler and siblings Hugh, Jack, and Kent Keeler; Vilda McNair and Lorrayne Robertson. Veva is survived by her daughters Lynda Whitlock, Barbara Jimenez and Marilyn Bluth; fourteen grandchildrenn Chad Whitlock, Philip Jimenez, Shelley Avenell, Terry Bluth, Jon Whitlock, Kelly Bluth, Lisa Danielson, Courtney Lawes, Tim Bluth, Ashley Alva-Trijuillo, Daniel Jimenez, Cory Whitlock, and Aaron Alva and 14 great grandchildren.Mrs. Bluth devoted her life to teaching children having worked 30 years in El Paso School Disctrict and Jordan School District. Her outstanding efforts to teach disabled children earned her numerous awards. As a proud descendant of early Utah pioneers of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mrs. Bluth continued this religious commitment by serving in numerous stake and ward callings. We, her family, have over the years been the recipients of her open door, loving arms, soft shoulder and words of wisdom. Thank you, Mommy. Our deepest appreciation to her Ward family and stellar neighbors for countless years of loving, gentle care. In a private family memorial, Veva will be interred at Mountain View Cemetery with her son and husband. Those who wish to send flowers, please extend your hearts and efforts to those in need.
