3 in Ohio court in dismembered woman case

URBANA, Ohio — A $100,000 bond has been set for a western Ohio man accused of stabbing and suffocating a woman then dismembering her body in their bathtub.

A Champaign County judge on Tuesday set the bond for 25-year-old Matthew Puccio of Urbana. Police say he used a bag to suffocate 21-year-old Jessica Sacco, his on-again, off-again girlfriend in the apartment they shared.

Some of Sacco's remains were found in the apartment Friday. Other body parts were found miles away in Kentucky.

Also arraigned was a Fenton, Mich. couple who police say stood by during the killing. Each was given a $50,000 bond. An Urbana couple involved in the case were in court Monday and were also given $50,000 bonds.

Telephone messages seeking comment have been left for the defendants' attorneys.
