Ray Ivan Christensen1928 ~ 2012West Jordan, UtahRay Ivan Christensen, 84, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2012 at his home in West Jordan, Utah. He was born on Easter Sunday April 8, 1928 in American Falls, Idaho, to Orion and Iva Christensen. He married his sweetheart Rae Dean Roberts on September 10, 1964. They were later sealed on April 14, 1977 in the Idaho Falls Temple.Ray loved to barter and trade with people any time he could. He was very personable and a great salesman. He seemed to have friends everywhere he went. He looked forward to taking road trips, camping and fishing trips but most importantly he loved spending time with his family.Ray is survived by his loving wife, 4 children Leslie, Susan (Steve) Vincent, Shelley (Danny) Bergen and Carl (Heather); 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a brother Lyle Christensen. Preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and a sister.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday May 18 at the Prairie 13th ward, 7337 S. Grizzly Way (5150 W). A viewing will be held on Thursday May 17 from 6-8 p.m. at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Road and also 1 hour prior to services at the church.
