Obituary: WALLACE, APRIL

April Dawson Wallace1948 ~ 2012April Christine Dawson Wallace passed away on May 9, 2012. Born to Lily and Elmer Dawson on December 4, 1948 in Spokane, WA. Her family moved to Delta, UT when she was in elementary school. Graduated Delta High School, Class of 1966. Then went on to attend Weber State University where she met the love of her life, Brad Wallace. They married in the Logan LDS Temple in 1971. After college they moved to Boise for Brad's job. There began a family with their son, Lance, and daughter, Jenette. They were very loving and caring parents. She was a great mother. April loved working with kids and ran a daycare over a decade. Later sold fossils through her business, Nature's Geometrics. Suffered from a brain tumor in her late thirties. Cancer was in remission for several decades. After loss of her beloved Brad in 2003, she may have never fully recovered. Returned to Delta only to have medical complications which led her to a nursing home in Salt Lake City, where she enjoyed LDS services. Family would like thank Ron Dawson for his love and care during the later years of her life. She will be missed. Survived by brothers: Ron and Jeff Dawson; son: Lance Wallace; daughter: Jenette Wallace. Funeral: Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 2pm at Nickle Mortuary, Delta. Viewing: before service at 12pm. Burial in Delta Cemetery with graveside dedication by Ron Dawson.
