INDIANAPOLIS — After the storm, silence. The Miami Heat stayed off the floor.
Still, the scrutiny continued.
Hours after a shocking 94-75 loss in Game 3 to Indiana, the Heat canceled Friday's scheduled practice and media availability. They stayed inside their downtown hotel and regrouped in preparation of Sunday's Game 4 against the confident Pacers, now two wins from upsetting the defending conference champions.
Indiana, too, took advantage of the two-day break between games and did not practice.
Miami's loss was heightened by Dwyane Wade's heated confrontation during a timeout with Heat coach Erik Spoelstra. Wade scored just 5 points in one of the worst playoff games of his career. Without a productive Wade, Miami's "Big Three" of Wade, MVP LeBron James and Chris Bosh, out with an injury, has been reduced to an "Only One."
