SALT LAKE CITY — A 25-year-old Sandy man faces robbery charges after a credit union employee recognized the man as someone he'd gone to high school with.

The robbery suspect was identified as Spencer Lance Bolingbroke, a member of the Cottonwood Road University Credit Union that he targeted, according to documents filed in 3rd District Court Friday. The affidavit states the man walked into the credit union Wednesday with a gun, demanding "all their hundred dollar bills," to which employees complied.

Bolingbroke was later located at his home. The man admitted to police that he used an airsoft pistol to hold up the credit union, court documents state. The gun and money were found inside the man's home.
