Saulelia Aiono"Nana"Our beloved grandmother, mother, daughter, aunt and friend Saulelia Aiono, 63, West jordan, UT., returned to her Heavenly Father, May 14th after a 6 month courageous fight with Breast Cancer.She was born in fasito'outa Western Samoa on September 6 1948 daughter of Sekoa Sua Muliaumaseali'i and Polataia Misa. Saulelia was married to Saolotoga Aiono on September 15, 1968. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Los Angeles temple on May 26 1973. Saulelia was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Saulelia Aiono loved to spend time with her children and especially her grandchildren. They referred to her as their "Nana" and she would make sure to tell them how much she loved them. She loved gardening, knitting, reading. She was a loyal friend and enjoyed visiting her friends and family members in California. She earned her Associates Degree while working full time for Ballard Medical. She is survived by her children, son Nephi B. (Heather) grandsons Nehemiah, Hanani, Kennan. Son Cleve P. (Tui) grandsons Asa, Ammon, Aaron and grandaughter Saulelia. Son Steve P. (Jennifer) grandsons Andrew, Paul and granddaughter Edris. Daughter Edris Netzler (Cornelius) grandsons Keanu, Olivia, Mason and granddaughter Pua'aeloa. Son Sorama S. (Angela) grandson Yohannes and granddaughter Olivia. Daughter in law, Diane Rongey: granddaughters Alexis and Mariah. She was preceded in death by her eldest son Oliva and husband Saolotoga. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 19th 9:00 at the South Jordan Utah Highland Stake, 10227 S. 4000 W. South Jordan. Interment to follow at Redwood Memorial Estates. 6500 South Redwood Road.
