Wanda Curtis Bunker Detton1917 ~ 2012Wanda was born May 10, 1917, Salina, Utah to Albert Heber and Mary Ann Andreason. She died May 17, 2012, Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Max William Bunker June 9, 1934, Fillmore, Utah. Max died June 26, 1968. She married Glen J. Detton, Sept. 21, 1970. Glen died July 11, 1997.She loved family, cooking, sewing, crocheting, family history (DUP) and roses and was great at all of these and many more things. She was an active member of the LDS Church and loved to serve in the primary and cub scouts and missionary work with Glen. Mom did the best she could for Glen's 6 children, Glen Jr. (deceased), Carron (deceased), Deana, Ann, Mark, and Darrin. Mom enjoyed Glen's large family of brothers and sisters.Survived by sons and daughters, Barbara (Blaine) Anderson NM., Kathryn (Jim) Anderson Calif., James (Marlyn) Bunker SLC., William (Anna) Bunker So. Jordan, 22 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by sons Larry and Jack Bunker, daughter Nancy Bunker Haertel and her husband Robert C. Haertel, father and mother, 2 sisters and 6 brothers. We express gratitude to the staff at Federal Heights for care and kind personal relationships with mom. Thanks to Care Source Hospice nurses for compassionate service. A special thanks to Bonnie for love and attention to Grandma. Services will be Monday, May 21, 2012 at the 26th Ward Chapel, 1155 West 500 South, Salt Lake City. 11:00 a.m. viewing one hour prior to service and friends may call Sunday evening 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City. Interment Delta City Cemetery.
