Sherry B. Deesing1935 ~ 2012Sherry Berrett Deesing passed away peacefully on May, 19, 2012, at Alta Ridge of Holladay from the progression of Alzheimer's. She was born in Salt Lake City on March 21, 1935, to Wayne and Delores Berrett and was the oldest of five daughters. She had a unique sense of humor and will be remembered as keeping this right until the end. Sherry was very creative and enjoyed making jewelry and other craft projects over the years. Her true passion was antiques and was recognized as an expert in antique jewelry and glassware, owning and operating Sherry's Antiques for over 40 years. She married Jack Williams in 1953, later divorced. She married Paul M. Deesing Jr. in 1960 and together they raised six children. She is survived by her six children, Kevin (Susan) Deesing, Jim (Kim) Deesing, Mark Deesing, Mike Deesing, Tammy (Jeffrey) Boyer and R. Scott Deesing; many grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Delores; husband, Paul; sister, Joanne; grandson, Kiley Floyd Deesing. We wish to express our gratitude and deep appreciation to the staff of Alta Ridge of Holladay for their kind and professional care of our mother. A graveside dedication will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S.
