PAPILLION, Neb. — A pair of two run homers in the fourth inning put the Bees ahead to stay, as Salt Lake downed the Omaha Storm Chasers 6-3 on Tuesday night.
The Bees trailed 2-1 in the fourth when Efren Navarro delivered a one-out single and then strolled home on a line drive home run to left by Luis Jimenez that put Salt Lake in front 3-2.
One out later, Ed Lucas walked and scored on a homer to right by Cory Aldridge, who had been signed by the Angels earlier in the day.
Jeremy Berg (2-1) tossed two scoreless innings for the victory.
Ryan Brasier gave up one hit and walked two, but kept Omaha off the board in the bottom of the ninth to record his sixth save of the season.
Jimenez had two hits and drove in two runs, while Paul McAnulty added two doubles and one RBI.
Matt Long also had two hits for the Bees, who have now put together a season high five-game winning streak.
