WASHINGTON — Fresh off back-to-back international summits, President Barack Obama is delivering the commencement address at the U.S. Air Force Academy, his annual speech to service academy graduates.

Obama will speak Wednesday in Colorado Springs, Colo., days after wrapping up a G-8 summit at Camp David, Md., and a NATO summit in Chicago where the U.S. and its allies firmed up plans for eventual withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Obama has used service academy addresses in the past to discuss the role of the military in protecting American interests in an age of war and terrorism.
