Larmer D Ellsworth1921 ~ 2012Larmer D Ellsworth, 91, passed away peacefully in his sleep with his loving wife by his side on May 18,2012. Larmer was born February 11, 1921 in Lyman, Wyoming to George Arthur and Mary Peterson Ellsworth. He grew up on the family ranch and learned his strong work ethic from his parents. He graduated from Lyman High School in 1939. He joined the Army in 1941, serving during World War II, and was honorably discharged in 1946.In October 1948, Larmer married Rosamond Rudy, divorced. They had one daughter, Rachael. Married Maurine Fullmer Swanney, divorced. They had two children, Doreen and Darwin. Married Leola Bowden Cooper. She preceded him in death in 1985. He met and married the love of his life, Toni Pardoe in 1993 in the Jordan River Temple.He retired from Kennecott after 21 years. Served in the Western States Mission.He had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and served as a temple worker in the Jordan River Temple for 11 1/2 years and served in many other Church callings.He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Lewis, George, Roland, Myron, Philo, Kenneth, Elmer, Arthur, J Vance, and Clifton; sisters, Marguerite and Charlotte; son Darwin; father-in-law, Thomas Pardoe. He is survived by his wife, Toni; daughters Rachael (Robert), Doreen; sons, Justin, Jesse (Heather); grandchildren, Allison, Jeremiah, Gregory, Kylie, Connor, Christy, Michael, Seth, Jace, Jocelyn; mother-in-law Shirley Pardoe.Viewing: 10:30 a.m., Thursday May 24, 2012 at the River Stake Center (452 W 550 S, Spanish Fork).Services: 12:00 p.m.; following the viewing. Interment will be at the Redwood Memorial Cemetery (West Jordan).In lieu of flowers, donations are accepted at UCCU.You will be so missed my special angel.
