Montierth.Died May 21, 2012 Salt Lake City, Utah.Married Max Lynn Carruth, Salt Lake Temple, April 22, 1942. Graduated Weber College. Supported Max in WWII military service in CBI Theater and Ph.D. in Sociology from U of U. Served in U of U Faculty Women's Club and Women's Legislative Council. Family was the heart and soul of her life. She devoted her life to her husband and dear children. Also loved learning, reading, traveling, fine arts, and culture. Hobbies: sewing; flower arranging; upholstery; creative writing; ceramics; ice skating. Served LDS Church in MIA, Primary and temple work. Predeceased by husband, son Joel M., siblings and parents. Survived by children Sharlene (Edward) Wells, Beverly (Paul) Bawden, Brent (LaJean) Carruth, Blair (Laurie) Carruth, 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.At Lenore's request there will be a private graveside service. Relatives and friends are invited to greet family Thursday, May 24, 6:00 - 7:30pm at the Granite View Ward, 2675 East, Mt Jordan Rd (9700 S). The family expresses appreciation to the staffs of Highland Care Center and the Utah State VA Nursing Home.
