Weldon J. Richman1924 ~ 2012Salt Lake City, UTSurrounded by loving family, Weldon James Richman peacefully departed from this life on May 21, 2012, as a result of Alzheimers disease. Weldon was born May 22, 1924, in a log cabin in Neola, Utah, to Elmer and Florence Woodward Richman. He grew up in Roosevelt, Utah. He was a veteran of World War II and was always proud to have served his country in the US Navy Air Corp. He married Dorothy Beeler on December 25, 1947. He graduated from the University of Utah. He retired from Firestone, managed Baily C.U. for many years, and was a partner in PBM, Inc. He is survived by his devoted wife, and his daughters and their husbands, Gayle Ann and Randy Maw, Pattie and Bob Dawson, and Linda and Tom Morrison. Also much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as siblings Melba Turner, Alma, Edwin and LaMar Richman. The family wishes to thank the staff at the VA Nursing Home and Bristol Hospice for their loving and compassionate care. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, May 24, 2012, at 10:00AM at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City. Friends and family may arrive at 9:30AM for a visitation prior to services.
