Mary Gayle Emery McGuire Sartori1932 ~ 2012On Sunday, May 20th time stood still for a moment as the gates of Heaven opened for Mary Emery Sartori, while she was carried on the wings of angels home to her Eternal Father.Mary was born on October 8, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Willard P. Emery and Geneve Jones Emery. She married Vincent E. McGuire, later divorced and re-married to her eternal companion, Val N. Sartori. She was a faithful member of the LDS church and served faithfully in many church callings. She also served an LDS mission in Washington D. C. with her companion and sister Verla Hamp. Her family was her greatest joy. She is survived by her son Richard E. McGuire and daughter Tammy McGuire Clark (Daniel), Step-children, V. Michael McGuire (Judy), Patrick McGuire (Veryl), Randy Sartori, Duane Sartori, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.Preceded in death by her husband Val N. Sartori, sister Barbra Jean Emery, and grandson Michael P. McGuire.Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 24th, 11 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens and Thursday 1/2 hour prior to services."We love you forever and always Grammy"
