Marjorie Gadd Frandsen1917 ~ 2012Marjorie Gadd Frandsen passed away peacefully on June 13, 2012 in Salt Lake City at the age of 95. She was born 16 February 1917 in Nephi, Utah to Albert Victor and Ethel Carter Gadd. She was raised in a loving and happy home, the only girl with 4 brothers. She married her eternal sweetheart, Ralph Porter Frandsen, in the Logan Temple on May 26, 1939. They spent 73 years loving each other and raising 6 children, 22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Mom served faithfully in many church callings, including a 2 year leadership mission in Liberty Stake with her husband. She had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and was proud of her pioneer heritage. She was a woman of faith, caring, and love. She was a peacemaker with a gentle sense of humor. She loved genealogy and quilting and made each grandchild and great grandchild a quilt. We love you, Mom. You were a wonderful example to us all.Marge is survived by her husband, Ralph, her children, David (Lena), Hal (JoAnne), Dennis (Wilma), Marilyn (Steven Wilde), Sheryl "Candy" (Dave Hunter) and Gary (Laura), and their families, Ron Beach an "adopted" family friend, and Rachael Summers.The funeral will be held Monday, 18 June, at 12 pm at the Parleys 5th Ward, 2615 E Stringham Ave, off Parleys Way (21st So.) in Salt Lake City. A viewing will be held Sunday, 17 June, at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 E 1300 S, Salt Lake City, from 6 to 8 pm.
