Norma H. Williams1914 ~ 2012Norma Missy Hansen Williams has been given rest from mortality in her 99th year. She was born February 27th 1914, to Jorgen Nikolai and Pauline Pedersen Hansen at Pocatello, Idaho. She deeply loved and honored her mama and papa, and was granted the blessing recorded in the book of Exodus that her days would be long. When she started elementary school, the teacher kept she and her sister, Thelma after school and taught them English. She never forgot her first language, Norwegian, and conversed in it until she passed through the veil. She never doubted the existence of her Savior. She taught that knowledge and her testimony to her sons, Howard and Scott, and with those feelings she was influential to many that came to her doorstep for they were given unconditional love and pure joy. She often fed those who came to see her with cookies, cakes, pies, bread and delicious food! Norma was a wonderful strength and example to her sons, grandchildren, friends, neighbors, Primary children, Cub Scouts, and the wonderful Relief Society sisters in her ward and stake. She married Elwood Miller Williams on October 1, 1934, and was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Norma was loved and respected by many far and wide as she and dad traveled the world with many friends and acquaintances from business, horse showing and social organizations. As she loved an associated with many here, she will be greeted by many loved ones that she will be with in the eternities. She is survived by two sons, Howard (Mary), Scott (Terri), 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.Preceded in death by her husband, sisters Thelma and Clara, brothers Harold and Vernon.
