Kenneth Kay Fairclough1925 ~ 2012Our beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, Kenneth K. Fairclough passed away June 24, 2012. He was born to Elvida Johnson and James Fairclough on April 22, 1925. He served in the United States Navy from May 1943 to February 1946. Ken was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 222. He married the love of his life, Verda Colleen Spencer on June 27, 1947. Together they enjoyed camping, fishing and building their beautiful cabin on Pinon Ridge. His life was dedicated to his wonderful wife and family. Ken will be missed by all who knew him.Survived by his daughters: NaDeen Kay Defa, Marleen Velere Stout (Gary), Pamela Leone Higgins (David) and Kena Kayleen Howell (Darcy); beloved nephew, Tracy Syddall (Patsy); 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Colleen; daughter, Noreen Kay Fairclough; his parents and siblings.A Vigil and viewing, followed by Rosary, will be held Tuesday, June 26th, beginning at 6:00 p.m. (Rosary at 7:30 p.m.) at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 W. 5215 So. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, June 27th, 10:00 a.m. with a viewing one hour prior. Services under the direction of Redwood Memorial Mortuary.
