Jury working 4th day in Philly priest-abuse case

PHILADELPHIA — Jurors are deliberating for a fourth day in the alleged conspiracy to cover-up child sex crimes at the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Monsignor William Lynn could spend 10 to 20 years in prison if convicted for what his lawyers call the sins of other men.

Lynn is the former secretary for clergy in Philadelphia. He's charged with endangering two children by keeping their alleged molesters in ministry despite earlier complaints about the priests.

He's also charged with conspiring with unindicted officials at the archdiocese to keep the public in the dark about scores of sex-abuse complaints.

Jurors are also weighing the fate of the Rev. James Brennan, who's charged with molesting a teen in 1996.
